Thanks to digital satisfactory devices, it was possible to record the great satisfaction of the public and the international press together with the win-win feedbacks through Social Media, reinforced by the unusual section focused on Monet's journeys to the Principality of Monaco and the surrounding Riviera. With a daily average of 2,000 visitors up to 4,000 people in the final stage of the exhibition, the result is flattering counting on 80% of the audience from Monaco and France and about 10% from Italy.
Francesco Grosoli, CEO of CMB Monaco, official and historical partner of the Grimaldi Forum, highlighted: « This exhibition will be remembered. Its quality reflected our ambition in terms of patronage, to contribute more and better to the cultural influence of the Principality. It was also an opportunity to take advantage of our partnership with the Grimaldi Forum (...) ».
The showroom, hosting more than 100 paintings by the most popular art master, made it easier to understand the painter’s inner spirit via an exceptional setting of 2,500 m2. Thus, it was considered one of the most important exhibitions dedicated to Claude Monet of this decade, so far.
The sustainable heart of the exhibition.
The management of the great summer exhibition as a unique tribute to Monet has also reinforced the environmental commitment pursued by the Grimaldi Forum under the umbrella of ISO norms, notably ISO 20121 focused on event management. The partnership with André Chenue professional transport company allowed to reduce the ecological impact of the exhibition. Besides that, a series of actions have been taken to achieve more than 20% savings, corresponding to about 30 less tons of CO2 emitted. Within its corporate social responsibility, the Grimaldi Forum has also pushed solidarity through Monet's exhibition in favour of some associations like Les Enfants de Frankie (helping sick, disabled or disadvantaged children) and Fight Aids, while organising special visits for visually impaired or blind visitors with the support of Valentin Haüy and Arrimage.
MONACŒCOART® offers all readers a virtual tour of Monet's summer exhibition through a unique photo book taken during the international press preview visit on the 6th July 2023.
